Best Buy of The Course

Steve Young Superbowl XXIX 1995

It is the best-selling off-dry white wine in the U.S.A.
It is America's best-selling version of this
particular varietal.
It costs only $6.99.
The Rest of the Story
What white caused all the excitement in my class, being
voted Best Buy of the course? Here it is.
1997 Gewürztraminer, Fetzer Vineyards
Grape Sources: Chiefly Monterey and Mendocino counties.
Other varietals: 15% Muscat, giving a pleasing floral boost
to the aroma and flavors.
Acid-Sugar Balance: A high 0.75% acid pairs nicely with
the 3% sugar...it's not too tart or too sweet.
Food Affinities—Smoked turkey; a multi-course Chinese
banquet; salmon steamed in banana leaves at San Francisco's
Singapore Straits Cafe; Kentucky Fried Extra-Spicy Chicken.
Contact—Phone (707) 744-1250, the office of Publicity
Director, George Rose.
