About the Authors
BEVERLY COX is food editor of Native Peoples magazine and former food editor and director of food styling for Cook's magazine. She is the author of ten cookbooks, including—with Martin Jacobs—Spirit of the Harvest, winner of the IACP Cookbook and James Beard awards, Spirit of the West, winner of the IACP Cookbook award, and Spirit of the Earth. She lives in Colorado on a ranch homesteaded by her great-grandfather in 1870.
MARTIN JACOBS is the photographer of the award-winning cookbooks The New American Cheese, The Foods of Vietnam, Spirit of the Harvest, Spirit of the West and Spirit of the Earth.
