Cookie Tree Centerpiece
A small christmas-cookie tree hung with homemade ornament cookies makes a lovely table centerpiece for the home and for holiday gatherings. Let guests and children take the cookies home as a delicious memento of a festive occasion.
You will need:
- Floral foam blocks
- Bucket liner (optional)
- Metal bucket or large ceramic container
- Small handsaw
- Small tabletop tree
- Small Christmas tree lights or clip-on candles
- Silver ornament balls and hooks
- Frosted Ornament Cookies
- Decorative ribbon, cord, or string
To Make
Soak the floral foam in water Add the liner to the bucket (if using) and fill the bucket or container with the foam and additional water.
Using the saw, cut the tree to the desired height. Insert the tree trunk in the foam and straighten it.
String the tree with lights or attach clip-on candles free of overhanging branches. Hang ornament balls on branches.
String the cookies carefully with ribbon and tie the ribbons to the branches.
