About the Authors
Pamela Sheldon Johns, author of the popular Parmigiano! and Gelato! cookbooks, has a diverse culinary background, A former cooking school director, she now travels and lectures to groups such as the International Association of Culinary Professionals, the American Institute of Wine & Food, the Southern California Culinary Guild, Women for WineSense, and the Smithsonian Institute. Her first book, The Healthy Gourmet Cookbook, was a James Beard Cookbook Award nominee. She lives on her farm in central Italy, where she hosts wine and food workshops in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna.
Jennifer Barry is the creator and designer of Holiday Hearts, one of several successful books on holiday theme cooking and crafts including the popular Holiday Eggs. She is also the creator of the award-winning Country Garden Cookbook series, the Italian Artisan Cookbook series, and Baked from the Heart. As art director for over 200 illustrated books, she has won numerous awards, including James Beard and Julia Child cookbook awards and the Literary Market Place Publishing Designer of the Year award. Her book packaging and design firm is based in Sausalito, California.
