Cocktail Recipe

Eggnog

 
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • 5 ounces milk
  • 1-1/2 ounces rum
  • dash nutmeg

Shake with ice. Strain into glass and serve with a sprinkling of nutmeg on top.

(Note: this is the traditional method of making eggnog and uses a raw egg, which may be a health concern for many. If you want to avoid using a raw egg, substitute the commercially pasteurized products available and add rum and nutmeg accordingly.)
