Body Treats

The largest organ of all is the skin, so when we lose moisture, it really shows it. Be kind to it in the air.

  • Spritz your eyes and face. A small plastic spritzer or atomizer with plain water can keep your eyes and face from drying out.
  • Moisturize your face and hands. Eye cream will also help prevent your eyes themselves from drying out. Best time to apply moisturizer is when there is still moisture in your pores from washing or spritzing.
  • Use natural saline tear drops several times an hour; they replenish the moisture without adding extra chemicals found in other eyedrop solutions.
  • Wear shoes a half size larger when flying. The altitude causes the nitrogen gas in our bodies to swell. Your feet really are bigger by the time you hit the tarmac. Use removable padded insoles to fill in the extra space when your fit have readjusted to land size.
  • If you are prone to "blocked ears," the pain that occurs on landing, try taking a decongestant a half hour before landing.
