Recipe

 

Tangy Mustard-Mayo Sauce

Makes about 1-1/3 cups

 
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons coarse-ground Maille or Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup lowfat yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish (optional)
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste

In a small bowl, stir together all ingredients until blended. Cover and chill until ready to use. Taste before serving to correct the seasonings. This sauce goes especially well with poached salmon and steamed asparagus.
