	Anthony Dias Blue Tasting Notes: An even bigger wine, this time from the Barossa Valley in South Australia. This one is dark and concentrated with velvety texture and hints of chocolate. It has intense stewed berries with flavors that show amazing depth and complexity.
Winery Notes: Many consider the Barossa Valley to be the home of Shiraz in Australia, and as long as Elderton continue to produce fine examples such as this 1996 release, you will get few arguments. The Elderton vineyard at Nuriootpa is located in the warm-climate Barossa Valley, 50 miles northeast of Adelaide. The vineyard was first planted in 1900, and the estate is located on the banks of the river Para.
